My 1st G'day!

ahem... well...G'day mates. this is my first blogpost or anything along the lines of this ever. but i have decided to do this to express my thoughts and heart so people can experience this next year with me. i'm going to be brutally honest and deep.

lets start.

i'm going down under.

i bought my visa today.

i bought my backpack and sleeping bag this weekend.

i hope to leave middle oct.

i'm scared to bits.

i've never asked for money from anyone (besides my loving parents ) and tonight i sent out an email asking for donations to help pay for my school. i hate asking for money. i wish that i had enough that i didnt have to ask, but unfortunately i am like 4000 away from having what i need. this is cool though because it gives me an up close and personal chance to see how God provides for our needs.

my trip:

first i will be working and backpacking in australia (destinations TBA later) and hopefully raising more money for my school, travel insurance and flights etc)...(oh and room and board haha). then after 3 months i will make the long trek to Byron Bay australia! the most easternly point of australia...a little hippy village made up of backpackers, surfers and artists! here i expect God to teach me how to be a missionary so when i am done my DTS i can either further my education in university or college or start applying directly on the mission field.

well...this is this start to a crazy adventure! i hope your gonna enjoy this ride as much as i will (of course just not as up close and personal as i will be hehe)
